We will be holding a birth fair in conjunction with our BOLD event. The fair will go from 12:30 PM until 9:30 PM and will include music, food, vendors and fun!

Hip Moves Fitness Studio will give a Belly Dancing performance before the 2:00 and 6:00 showing of BIRTH.
Rona Bennett has been belly dancing for 9 years (professionally for 4 years). She opened her own place, Hip Moves Fitness Studio, in 2005. She teaches Belly Dance, Yoga, Pilates and Personal Training.
From 1:00-1:30 enjoy a Percussion Birth Workshop by Alycin Hayes
Using movement, visualization, breathing & percussion music Alycin Hayes will give a 30 minute interactive workshop where participants will give and receive healing opening vibrations.
Alycin Hayes has performed her innovative percussion music and sound scapes in United States, Canada, Iceland and Thailand with a wide range of musical groups. She also facilitates Healing Inner Rhythm and other workshops in colleges and retreats throughout North America. Alycin Hayes recently recorded a CD with the canadian drumming group The Rhythm Sisters and another CD with the Suwannee rock band Progressive Madness. She is currently working on a new CD of her original songs with her versatile band of musicians Chimo Gypsies. This spring the Thai Elephant Orchestra will release it's 3rd CD featuring some percussion instruments designed by Alycin Hayes for the elephants.

At 4:30 Talia Johnson & Michael Derry take the stage. They have performed together for 10+ years and are delighted to perform several popular songs, gathered for the Birth Fair, that relate to parenthood, babies, birth, and women. Michael and Talia can be be heard on New Creation's, single Let All Associate as well as TaliaSafa's album Attract the Hearts .
Steph
Taylor and the State Of take the stage from 8:30-9:30. Steph Taylor
and the State Of is the product of the recent marriage between Steph Taylor’s
edgy piano playing and Nabedi Osorio’s electronic-like live drumming.
Their dark pop sensibility was born out of their mutual love and respect
for each other’s instruments and is reminiscent of artists ranging from
Radiohead and the Police to Tori Amos and Bjork. Taylor’s style of playing
is often percussive and dark where Osorio’s drumming is melodic and steadfast.
The common bond that makes their music come together is the intricate
nature of their respective styles and when coupled, they create a dynamic
sound larger than what’s expected out of two people. Visit
